Why is it important?
For many, iftar is uncertain. Your £1 provides dignity, relief, and the blessing of helping someone complete their fast. Acts of kindness and generosity, especially during Ramadan, are believed to attract blessings and rewards from Allah. Providing food to the fasting is seen as an opportunity to earn spiritual rewards and seek forgiveness for one’s sins.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said, “Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast will have a reward like his.”
(Tirmidhi)
Acts of charity hold great significance in Islamic teachings, especially during the month of Ramadan, when Muslims are encouraged to engage in increased charitable activities. We are here to make this easy for you, fostering a sense of community and solidarity among Muslims.
