The living conditions in war torn Gaza is exacerbated by the aftermath of conflicts and blockade. Access to basic necessities such as clean water, electricity, and healthcare remain a huge concern. As-Salaam Foundation is still operating on the ground and distributing essentials. We are operational both in the North and South and have already sent out two deployments to pass aid through the Rafah border.

Your Qurbani contribution has directly reached disadvantaged families in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, ensuring they received nutritious, high-quality meat. This act has echoed the enduring and generous sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (as), and directly addressed issues of hunger and poverty.

This year you donated Eid gifts to 100 orphans as an expression of compassion, solidarity, and shared joy during this auspicious occasion. By giving gifts to the poor, we not only bring happiness and comfort to their lives but also reinforce the bonds of community and kindness that are central to the teachings of Islam. It’s a way to ensure that everyone can partake in the festivities and experience the joy of Eid, regardless of their circumstances.

The distribution of 300 food packs in Uganda by As-Salaam Foundation was a critical lifeline for the beneficiaries, providing immediate relief from hunger and malnutrition. These food packs ensured that families had access to essential nutrients, which is particularly important for children, the elderly, and other vulnerable members of the community.

The livestock distribution has provided goats and cows to villagers, offering sustainable sources of nutrition, income generation through milk and offspring sales, and agricultural support via manure for improved crop yields. This initiative has enhanced livelihoods, promoted self-reliance, and fostered economic stability within the community.

As-Salaam Foundation has made a significant impact in Pakistan by providing 20 wheelchairs to individuals in need. This initiative marks a pivotal step towards enhancing mobility and improving the quality of life for those facing physical disabilities.

As-Salaam Foundation’s installation of 100 water pumps in Nepal has had a profound impact on local communities, providing reliable access to clean water, reducing the need for villagers to travel long distances and improving overall health and hygiene. The availability of water has also supported agricultural productivity and economic stability, contributing to community development and resilience against water-related challenges.

We have used your Sadaqat al-Fitr to give Eid gifts to 1,000 orphans and cash assistance to our Rohingyan sisters in Bangladesh as an expression of compassion, solidarity, and shared joy during this auspicious occasion.
