Bringing the Light of Islam to Nevis During Ramadan 2026
Help Us Continue Spreading the Light of Islam in Nevis
Nestled in the Caribbean, the beautiful island of Nevis is home to around 12,000 people, with Christianity as the dominant faith and only a very small Muslim presence. While Islam continues to grow globally, many people on Nevis have little to no exposure to its teachings, values, or practices. This makes Nevis a unique and important place for da’wah—sharing the message of Islam through compassion, education, and community engagement.
In Ramadan 2025, we sent three dedicated Hafiz-ul-Qur’an to Nevis, and the impact was truly transformative. They led Taraweeh prayers every single night, allowing the recitation of the Qur’an to be heard and experienced in a land where this is rarely possible. Beyond leading prayers, they educated locals through Qur’anic teaching and Islamic lessons, nurturing the small Muslim community and introducing non-Muslims to the beauty, wisdom, and mercy of Islam. The presence of the Hufaaz strengthened faith, built unity, and created a renewed sense of spiritual purpose across the island.
However, access to Islamic knowledge and leadership in Nevis remains extremely limited. Without continued support, these positive changes risk fading, and the Muslim community may once again be left isolated.
Our Ongoing Mission in Nevis
We are seeking your support to continue and expand this vital work by:
-
Sending qualified Hufaz and Islamic teachers to lead Taraweeh and daily prayers, keeping the Qur’an alive in the hearts of the community.
-
Delivering Islamic education and Qur’an classes for both Muslims and non-Muslims, fostering understanding, faith, and spiritual growth.
-
Laying long-term foundations so future generations on Nevis have sustained access to Islamic guidance and learning.
This is not a one-off project—it is about planting seeds of iman, building bridges between communities, and ensuring that the message of Islam continues to reach hearts in a place where it is still largely unknown.
“The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.”
Surah Al-Hujurat (49:10)
