Qurbani 1447 | 2026

Through the generosity and trust of our donors, As-Salaam Foundation successfully completed Qurbani distributions across seven countries during Eid ul Adha 2025. Eid ul Adha commemorates the devotion and sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who was willing to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s command. Qurbani allows vulnerable families around the world to enjoy nutritious meals and celebrate Eid with dignity and happiness. Your support helped provide fresh meat to thousands of impoverished families living in hardship, conflict, and poverty.
India
In India, a total of 45 large animals were sacrificed and distributed to poor and needy families across rural communities including Katihar, Bihar and Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Many families in these areas struggle with rising food costs and unemployment, particularly in underprivileged villages where access to meat is extremely rare outside of Eid. Through your donations, families were able to celebrate Eid ul Adha with joy and share meals together in the true spirit of sacrifice and compassion.
Uganda
In Uganda, where many communities continue to face poverty and food insecurity, especially in rural areas such as Kitantalo, we distributed Qurbani meat from 41 small animals and 17 large animals. Uganda has one of the youngest populations in the world, and many orphaned and vulnerable children rely heavily on charitable support. The Qurbani project brought relief and smiles to countless families and children during the blessed days of Eid.
Bangladesh
In Bangladesh, 8 small animals, and 3 large animals were completed and distributed among impoverished Rohingya families living in refugee camps. Bangladesh is densely populated, and many of these refugee families live in over-packed slums and struggle to get access to basic necessities. Eid ul Adha provided an opportunity for these families to receive fresh meat and experience the joy and blessings of Eid.
Nepal
In Nepal, our teams sacrificed and distributed 6 small animals to families facing severe hardship in remote and mountainous regions. Nepal remains one of the poorer countries in South Asia, where many vulnerable families have limited access to nutritious food. Your Qurbani donations helped unite communities and ensure families could celebrate Eid with dignity and happiness.
Pakistan
In Pakistan, 1 small animals and 2 large animals were sacrificed and distributed amongst widows, orphans, and struggling families in rural and urban communities. Pakistan continues to face economic challenges, inflation, and widespread poverty affecting millions of people. Through this Qurbani appeal, families who rarely consume meat were able to enjoy wholesome meals during the sacred days of Eid ul Adha.
Jordan
In Jordan, a total of 7 small animals were distributed to vulnerable Palestinian and Syrian refugee families in Mafraq. Jordan hosts a significant number of displaced refugees from neighbouring conflict zones, many of whom rely on humanitarian assistance to survive. Your support ensured that these families were not forgotten during Eid and were able to partake in the blessings of Qurbani.
Yemen
Finally, in Yemen, one of the world’s most severe humanitarian crises, 7 small animals were sacrificed and distributed to families suffering from conflict, hunger, and displacement. Millions in Yemen continue to face food shortages and malnutrition. Your Qurbani donations provided vital nourishment and hope to families enduring immense hardship during the blessed days of Eid ul Adha.
May Allah (SWT) accept the Qurbani of every donor, volunteer, and supporter who contributed towards this noble effort. Together, we were able to spread the spirit of Eid ul Adha across communities in need and bring relief to thousands of beneficiaries around the world.
