Emergency Winter Appeal – Supporting Rohingya Refugees in Cox’s Bazar
On 17th November 2025, a dedicated UK team will be travelling to Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, to serve the forgotten Rohingya refugees who continue to endure unimaginable hardship. As part of this mission, the team will distribute:
- 150 food packs, each costing ÂŁ50, and
- 125 winter relief packs, each costing ÂŁ60.
These packs will provide families with nutritious food, warm blankets, and essential hygiene supplies—lifelines for those facing the harsh winter ahead.
As winter approaches, the situation for Rohingya refugees in the camps is becoming increasingly critical. Cold weather threatens children, the elderly, and the sick, with the World Health Organization reporting that pneumonia—worsened by the cold—remains one of the leading causes of death among children under five. At the same time, nearly 40% of Rohingya children suffer from chronic malnutrition, leaving them weak and vulnerable, while the UNHCR warns that 60% of shelters are poorly insulated, exposing families to freezing winds. Food insecurity deepens this crisis, with the World Food Programme estimating that 70% of refugees are food insecure, struggling to meet even the most basic needs.
In these desperate conditions, orphans, widows, and vulnerable families face life-threatening risks without immediate support. By sponsoring a pack, you can make a direct and lasting impact. A donation of ÂŁ50 will provide a family with vital food, while ÂŁ60 will help protect them from the cold with winter supplies. For ÂŁ110, you can give both food and warmth, offering safety and dignity to a family who has lost so much.
Your generosity can make the difference between safety and suffering this winter. Together, we can bring hope and relief to those who need it most.
Donate today and be the reason a family survives this winter.
