On 17th November 2025, a dedicated UK team travelled to Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, to support the forgotten Rohingya refugees, delivering vital aid to families facing extreme hardship. Through this mission, we successfully distributed:
-
150 food packs (valued at £50 each), and
-
125 winter relief packs (valued at £60 each).
These packs provided vulnerable families with nutritious food, warm blankets, and essential hygiene items, offering much-needed relief during the harsh winter period.
At the time of distribution, conditions in the camps were critical. Winter temperatures placed children, the elderly, and the sick at severe risk. Pneumonia—exacerbated by cold conditions—remained one of the leading causes of death among children under five, while nearly 40% of Rohingya children suffered from chronic malnutrition. With 60% of shelters poorly insulated and 70% of refugees facing food insecurity, many families were struggling to survive day to day.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we were able to prioritise orphans, widows, and the most vulnerable households, ensuring they received both food security and protection from the cold. Each food pack helped families meet their immediate nutritional needs, while the winter packs offered warmth, dignity, and protection from life-threatening conditions.
This mission would not have been possible without your support. Together, we provided safety, relief, and hope to families who have already lost so much. Your donations made a real and lasting difference—helping families survive the winter and reminding them that they have not been forgotten.
May Allah reward all those who contributed and supported this life-saving effort.
