Providing Clean Drinking Water in Northern Punjab
Access to safe drinking water remains one of the greatest challenges in Pakistan, where an estimated 62% of the urban population and 84% of the rural population live without it. This lack of clean water contributes to widespread illness, hardship, and loss of dignity.
Thanks to your support, we successfully installed 13 water coolers across the Northern Punjab district of Pakistan. Each system provides clean, cool, and safe drinking water to the public, reducing the risk of waterborne diseases and offering relief, especially during the hot summer months.
These coolers were strategically placed in a variety of high-footfall areas to reach as many people as possible, including:
-
Local schools
-
Taxi ranks
-
Villages
-
Busy marketplaces and public gathering spots
The impact has been immediate, offering thousands of people daily access to safe drinking water where previously there was little or none.
Your donations have brought health, relief, and hope to communities in need, turning a basic necessity into a life-saving resource.
