MUAZZAM TRUST APPEAL - JHELUM, PAKISTAN
Ongoing
Our sister trust (Muazzam Foundation UK), founded over two decades ago, is a unique trust that provides a vast array of both live saving and psychosocial support in Pakistan. The foundation provides the vulnerable, poor and destitute with basic physiological and safety needs including food, water, shelter, clothing, education and healthcare, as well as belongingness and esteem needs including love, respect, strength and freedom. COVID 19 has put extreme strain on our staff, volunteers and the destitute who they serve daily at the hospital in Jhelum, Pakistan.
To date they are expecting to fall short of their yearly budgeted target by approx. £60,000 due to the pandemic. However, despite the rise in the number of COVID 19 cases and deaths, they are obliged to keep serving their objects whilst staying safe. There has been no other time that they have needed your support as much as now. Please act now and donate your Zakat, Sadaqah and Lillah. Treatment and medical aid will continue as normal, albiet with hundreds of extra patients walking through their doors daily plus due to the national shortage of food as well as the government guidelines of lockdown, food packs are desperately needed to be donated. They are receiving no government intervention at all.
Please help them say “yes” to the poor and to continue to provide aid. It’s very difficult to turn people away that have nothing.
